Keep in mind these are extremely rare, this toy was unreleased and i think only somewhere around 6 of these guys made their way into being carded samples... but still since they never released Hot Spot, there's no way you could ever complete the combiner team to form Gen. 2 Defensor.

Haha oh i've made some bad customs (decisions for that matter) in my time but never did i ever think of putting them on ebay to sell off. Oh they're limited and rare alright and good reason, because no one wants them.

Yeah but those auctions are totally just that guy's way of saying "Hey, I have this, people send me your offers." There's no way he expects that BIN price, that's why he has the OBO posted.
