  1. The 5.7 round is fairly nasty, but many think of it as a jacket piercer that goes through ANYTHING, in one side and out the other. Not true. The 5.7 was developed to hav ethe stopping power of a 5.56 in a small package. the Five seveN has almost no recoil, as does the P90. Also, the P90 will pierce all Class I, II, IIA, and some III's, but it will not penetrate anything a 5.56 wont. My buddy got a new issue vest, Class III. Stops a 5.56 dead in it's tracks, and most 7.62's are toast as well. Even got a new class three helmet, does the same thing. Still put you in the hospital from blunt force trauma, however. The same is true of the new 4.6mm round from HK. Small, AP, and high velocity. Ideally, it goes through protection, and does just as most people have said, bounce around.
  2. If you can, find theatre grade Blackwrap. It's like Aluminum foil, but about 5-10 times thicker. Usually o the lower end. It comes matte bloack on both sides as well.
  3. MAKE EM BIGGER! MAKE EM BIGGER! Actually, I need a widescreen one. 1900x 1200.
  4. It isn't a carbine, it's an SMG.... As for the ammo types, SS190 should, and will never be allowed on the civvie market. It's copper jacketed STEEL. Last time I heard it was used, they put thermal sights on it and shot a guy through a wall. 196, however, will be allowed, because otherwise, they'd be firing blanks. And if I recall correctly, someone said the point of having a bullpup was to have as short a barrel as possible, not true. Point is to have the longest barrel in the shortest weapon possible.
  5. i never liked the 30 year old design of the g11. the case with any gun is realy nothing its just there to hold the primer and powder while prevent the gas from escaping into the block throught the firing pin and other nooks and crannys due to old design flaws and such. the g11 in my mind is still a cased ammo using gun since instead of brass or steel its the powder itself made into the case. the chamber still does all the work keeping it in on both designs. i dont realy call it original, the chamber is just a drum and spins around like a clock or those who reload a powder measure. The rotating drum deisgn had never been USED until the G11. The powder design was also revolutionary, because you know have an ALL climate weapon. The casing's will never shrink that hair it takes to lock the. round in place. The P90 is also completely un-uniform in design. It's designed around ergonomics, and It's arguably the most comfortable weapon I've ever held. It's fairly accurate for it's size, and a 50 round magazine on something that isn't even as long as an MP5A4. Even the way you strip it down...the thing comes apart into three pieces! Even the round is revoltuinary, except for the fact you really cant use it in CQC. Revolvers and gattling guns. just rotates a differnt way. And with cases you never need to worry about case shrinkage but case expansion you need to keep an eye out. when reloading and getting stuck in the chamber. The rotating mech. Of the 90 and G11 is in NO way related to the revolver or gatling gun. The gatling gun is one firing pin, and one feed, with multiple barrels to keep overheating down. Same general principle, jus teh other way around. And you do nee dto worry about shrinkage, because when you fire it, it can jiggle around the chamber really fast, and that just has a tendency to, well, you know, **** things up. Sorry bout the lewis gun, I dont keep tabs on Anything made before '40.

  7. It looks like a collapsible and folding M60 stock, UMP receiver and Forearm, SAW pistol Grip, Armalite Mags, and teh G36's gas system. Rather ugly, if you ask me. Then again, Fabrique Nationale also brought us the P90, one of the coolest looking guns of all time, and the FN2000. But it is truly an FNC decked up for the future, as BSU said.
  8. Why does it always have to be the Venus suit.....sighh.......
  9. Spike would do nothing to agent ONE and his PHYSIQUE! AND THAT IS DIRECTLY TRANSLATED TO HIS ROBOTS!
  10. FOOL! I shall purchase 100 thousand and give them lil spikey things too! SPIKEY THINGS! VIVA!! Um.....dude......he has 400 for every one of yours...
  11. I'm fairly sure the commanche would win, as the APache isn't geared towards anti-air stuff. If I recall correctly, the Commanche did have the option of sidewinders. Now that I think about it, so did the Apache. I think the Commanche would take it, due to stealth and maneuverability. As for HIND vs Longbow, I'd have to say the apache again, as it is infinitely more advanced than the HIND. Against the KA-52 Hokum/Black Gator/whatever, I don t know.
  12. What was the name of the project designed to make enemy fighters lose their will to fight in GITS: SAC. Hint: Bato (sp?) was a ranger at that time.
  13. Even though it's all crappy romanji. So what if he calls them one thing, they look EXACTLY the same as the other, so call it the otehr if you wish!
  14. That's actually a superstition among tabletop gamers....they are ROCKET launchers, because they aren't MISSile launchers. Rockets are dumbfire. Missiles are not. Bifors is not a company. Bofors is. Oh, and one other thing. Count the number of missiles in those bays. Not 12, is it? On the models, I mean. Oh, and Rockets are not generally referred to in rounds, they are in # of tubes in a launcher. Oh, another thing. Since they are both the same thing, and look the same, and don't have a HUGE FRICKIN' sticker on them saying "Lockheed ATM-01 Rapier" how could we possibly differntiate them? So let me ask you this. Who CARES?!
