Macross Collectibles Market Watch - Current Auction/Store SOLD prices

If I remember correctly, the newbie thread only mentions bootlegs of the 1/55-scale Valkyries.

As to why the stickers are missing, the 1/60 v2 M&Ms are almost seven years old. Even if these are new (old stock), then I think the boxes are probably just worn from storage. I wouldn't worry about the missing Macross/Big West stickers if the contents are in good condition and you have all the parts.

I've gotten bootleg Clear Parts for the Supers from Taobao in China, but the packaging was nowhere near what the originals came in.

I had to run to lab to do an experiment, so I'll check when I get back home and update you all.

They're legit, MISB with perfect tinted canopies :D

The only thing off was the oxidation on all of the fixed pose "clown hands"...except for Milia's left closed fist...

I know I've seen this before, but I can't remember where. Either way, I'm a happy camper :)

Well, $630 for the set ain't cheap, but at half the current going rate, and about what I payed for my first set in 2011, I'd say I made out alright :D

The Macross Gods must've been smiling upon me when I decided to skim the eBay listings that night

Nice find old man ;)

The lack of option parts is actually against it. If it is cheaper by 2000 or more so yen, then it might sell well. Otherwise, procuring the arcadia sounds a better a deal

What if the Arcadia parts are a different color than the Yamatos?

If that's the case, good thing I have enough set for my Hikaru. And this one will probably end up getting customized in the future. If not, then I'll be glad if they're going to keep this 'new' color if ever they will announce a reissue Hikaru 1S and 1A.

But I have a feeling that this one will still have the Yamato DYRL colors. ;)

Figure this is as good as any other thread to post this....

Buyee will start charging you to store items you've purchased after 30 days.....

Before you could store free of any fees for up to 90 days.....

http://faq.buyee.jp/articles/en_US/FAQ/q52/?l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

Guess they have been getting a lot of business....I have been using them for a few years now, but now their storage fees really will not make them any better than other proxy bidding services....

Theirs shipping fees also very steep... consolidation don't really help to keep the cost low.

if can get it somewhere else better not thru buyee...

bid only those not available somewhere....

Aren't they're using the same Japan Post International Shipping Fees? The only reason why we think that it's steep is because we're also paying the shipping fees from the seller to Buyee's warehouse. And not to forget their service fee so that they can run their proxy services. That's the price we need to pay if we really want things that we could only get in Japan. Unless you befriended some Japanese and do the biddings for you for free. Or you could just wait until they show up on Mandarake or eBay. Just saying. ;)

But like jvmacross said if you could use their 90 days and ship everything together for sure you save some dough.

I used to use Rinkya, but have been using Buyee since the beginning of the year.

Can you suggest any other proxy service?

Kind of topic, new store that carries some P-Bandai Stuff

http://samuraibuyer.jp/en/sh/Hobby/pbandai/

I would have suggested for you to add it here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41210

However, it does not carry any Macross....so I guess that would be inappropriate....

It definitely does not belong here as this thread is to discuss the current market prices for Macross collectibles only.....

I figured it could help since it also offers proxy services

Anyway not bad intention here

My apologies Mog....I thought it was a link to a store....

Anyway, I registered with them and they seem easy enough to use...plus their fees are straight forward....500 JPY for anything under 5000 JPY and 9% of the cost for anything higher....

The only issue is the storage. They do not appear to list how long they will hold anything for you? I will ask them. This is the biggest issue for me....I buy many things from YJA and to save on shipping, a really long storage period works best for me. If this proxy will only hold it for a few days or up to 30...then they are about the same as other proxy bidding companies. The only thing that will ultimately differentiate these type of proxies will be the fees.

Your post belongs either here:

Or perhaps here:

Some mod should edit the Topic title to "Macross Collectibles Market Watch of Completed auctions/Sold items" for the peeps who didn't read the 1st post. Makes it easier for members at a glance.
