  1. Another bites the dust . Sorry guys , didn't know which tread is more appropriate so just put into here . 7 plus hrs of work for this 4 eggs .
  2. Room wasn't fully dark . I'm using LED lights . Time period as in how long I own those toys ? Think they have been with me for 8-10 yrs or more if starts with the yamato versions.
  3. Recolouring all my yellowed valks . Kept them away from uvs ,smoke etc ..but eventually they turn yellow . Have tried using hydrogen peroxide, but it only last for awhile. So recolouring is the only option left .Didn't want to use white as it will turn yellow again. Even some of the green ,grey etc turns . Got total of 17 valks and accessories have to respray .... But I'm quite certain the new coat of acrylic ( deeper colours ) will not turn . But still ,hopefully the lighter grey I'm using doesn't turn .Lost some of the tiny decals on the way which I cannot mask out tho.
  4. Was wondering does it fit the Yamato version or with some sight modification it can be fit on ?
  5. I think you are missing it too ,mine comes with the plug cap .
  6. Thanks Spanner ,hope it helps for those who suffer from broken parts for the 171 . This 171 is really a nightmare ... the chest hinge of mine broke too , but luckily it can be fixed also .. The tamiya epoxy was apply into the empty holes and let it dry and set for 24 hrs , then the rest is not so much of a difficulty .
  7. The red plastic was meant to be a pail knob from the handle which the entire pail can hold 15 kg of water .It is super tough ,i got cuts all over my fingers while sanding it into shape . I'm not worry about it breaking but the original plastic on the actual toy is what that worries me most .
  8. Tried to glue the broken parts together ,but it will not hold .So have redo everything all over again .The red plastic was from a pail handle knob which is super tough .Will be sanding it down and colour spray it as the final process .Hope it holds ..
  9. Yup ,the big cover cap on the thigh .Looks like it's gona to be tough to get it to pop ..
  10. Thanks for the insight Chronocidal ,looks like it is pretty much a gonna ..btw ,how do you remove the center piece ? by forcing a screw driver into it too ?
  11. Oh my ....Guess mine will be fighter mode forever ... : ((((
  12. Thanks Valk ,so you have to put a screw driver to force out the center piece first before the two halves can be taken apart ?
  13. Brand new in box ,before i transform this happens ....Guys ,is there anyway to take the upper portion ( red arrow indicating ) apart so that it can be fix ,i unscrew the mini screw already but it seems impossible to bring the two halves apart . SOS SOS : (
