  1. That's the suit Samus starts with in Corruption so it will have the standard orange, yellow and red colors with green accents. That model could be colored to release the gravity suit and probably the phazon suit from Prime 1.
  2. When the zero suit Samus figma was shown earlier this year, there was a poster/card in the background stating that a Prime 3: Corruption version is in development. It'll likely be a figma of the base suit. A figure of one of the upgraded suits would be nice. It'd also be nice if they actually included a metroid as an accessory.
  3. Well, this is the result of forgetting I had preordered from two sites and going with the decision when the payment requests came. Other than that, I've avoided buying multiples of the same design with the same color scheme and scale.
  4. Stands are great. I just don't have enough of them. For the VF-4s, the foot is not providing any support.
  5. Well, I feel stupid. I fiddled with it some more and noticed that it matters which legs the gray clips go on. I had them reversed which kept the arms from fitting in the leg grooves. The shield has a downward slope now but I guess that's correct.
  6. This is the best I can do, and it just doesn't look right.
  7. I'm having problems getting everything to fit nicely when attaching the fast packs in fighter mode. Is there trick to this that I'm missing? If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
  8. Thanks. I tried using a pin, but the drop of glue didn't stay on long enough for me to get it where I needed it. However, I did remove the screw at the wrist which allowed me to spread open the forearm halves a bit. This gave me a little more room at the swivel join to work in, and I was able to get the glue in there.
  9. How do I disassemble the forearm on the SV-51? Mine suffers from floppy tailfins. I've read that someone was able to work super glue into the joint without taking the arm about, but I don't think I could manage that without messing up the arm.

I'm pretty sure GlaGla never released instructions for this or most of his other creations. I think the only reason he provided instructions for his armature was because it was the frame for several of his works, and it is rather easy to build. If you still plan on trying to track this down, you might want to start with mechahub.com or try digging through http://news.lugnet.com/build/mecha/.
  11. There are two colors for the vents: a baby blue and a grayish blue (i think). The color change is beleived to have occurred after the first 3000 units were made.
  12. The Alpha is #2619, and yes, the vents are baby blue. I'm thinking about getting 1/48 VF-1A; that will give me the basic models. However, I will probably get a display case so that I can actually display the stuff I collect instead of storing it in a closet. You know, I actually thought that the 1/48 VF-1S would be the only 1/48 I'd buy. I blame Yamato for releasing the GBP.
  13. Here's my meager collection. The Spartan, Bioroid, and SD figures are childhood toys. The Spartan and Bioroid were packaged under the Robotech license and acquired shortly after their first US release. I think the SD figure could be considered a bootleg. I don't recall seeing Robotech (and definitely not Macross) on the package. Not pictured are a beat up 20 year old green Alpha (again, Robotech) and an unbuilt Hasegawa strike VF-1S. The Alpha is missing at the moment, but I can post a picture of it once I find it again.
