  1. If it comes down to the higher price vs not having it made I'd pay more. (Although I'm hoping you can still hit the original price with 30 people).
  2. I sent a PM as well, I'd be down for one of the 1/48 legioss soldiers. Please, please, please
  3. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I might be able to use for replacement hands on one of the Alphas from the Robotech Master piece toys? Both hands split from dry rot where the metal pin runs through the fingers. Was wondering if there's any gundam hands or poly type kits that'd offer a good replacement option. (Leg is also jammed after a single transformation, I'll never buy anything from that line again).
  4. Thanks for posting those pics they will be very helpful. I use Maya for my models. Here's one of the destroids I pieced together for printing.
  5. That'd be much appreciated More rough work
  6. I started working on a new 3D model, when it's completed I'll have it printed simular to the macross destroids I previously did. I'm planning on it being 1/48th scale so it'll be around 36mm, at that size it also won't look too out of place alongside other 30mm models andmore importantly it'll match the scale of the MPC stuff and my old leader-1 knockoff kit. I am working strictly from one of the mospeada art books and don't have any of the MPC or CMS toys which would be very nice to work from, but sadly I am poor. If anyone can post shots straight on from the front side and rear it would be very helpful. Angled shots would also help as i want this to look as accurate as possible. The animation art is nice but very hard to determine angles from at times. These are still very rough shots so there's a lot of work still needed on the legs.
  7. I might down for that, I'm in the west suburbs. Trying to figure out if my budget would allow for the trip, but I'm definately interested in going.
  8. I found a really awesome place for printing, it's a bit more on the expensive side but the models are super high quality and don't need any clena up work. http://www.visionproto.com/ I've been using them for a lot of my stuff. I really like the lancer you have and I'd love to be on board for a cast but too broke ATM
  9. The ships look great. I remember seeing one of the three man scout ships put out by nichimo or big west but i think it was a 1/500 scale model.
  10. It'll be a while until it's complete but I have the officer's pod underway. I also found another 3d artist who's looking to help kick in on the zentraedi foot soldiers. So hopefully I'll have another round of minis to show off in the next month or so. Also if anyone is interested here's the stuff i was working on for a table top style fan-game. 11. I think this is probably the first complete miniature I've painted in two years. I did a couple 1/200 scale model kits since then, but not actual minis. I didn't go for any shading or washes. I'd initally tried a wash but it made the white look really dirty and I figured in solid colors it'd look a bit more like the animated series.
  12. The $15 cost would be per model which is about standrad for most pewter miniature figures. (Battletech models are the closest comparsion) The only way to get the model cost down would be to make them with plastic injection which has a huge start up cost.
