  1. Might need to thin it a bit. If I had to do it again, I would probably just thin it enough to airbrush it on as my paint brushing skills are not the best. I recently got some Citadel contrast medium and it seems to help the citadel paints flow better as well when brushing. Small are touchups like I did in my pic should be fine. Doing something like a whole strip, I'd probably use my airbrush.
  2. Here's a pic with it partly out. It does seem pretty far forward, but not nearly as far forward as it appears to be on the toy.
  3. Horus Heresy Space Doggos stuff announced. Contemptor: https://merch-usa.warhammer.com/collections/latest-releases/products/joytoy-warhammer-the-horus-heresy-action-figure-space-wolves-contemptor-dreadnought-with-gravis-bolt-cannon-1-18-scale-preorder?shpxid=0ef30804-28e0-402d-9815-dfb5dfcb92ae Geigor Fell-hand https://merch-usa.warhammer.com/collections/latest-releases/products/joytoy-warhammer-the-horus-heresy-action-figure-space-wolves-geigor-fell-hand-1-18-scale-preorder
  4. Wow, that's a really nice find. Some nice art in there. That's pretty funny they actually listed gerwalk in there.
  5. Apparently a new UM terminator chaplain is also coming. I like this one a whole lot better than the other termie chaplain JoyToy has already released.
  6. I was wondering that too. I really hope it's darker like that. It looks better that way, imo.
  7. Got my IF despoiler squad and a breacher with the graviton gun. They looked pretty good already, but I decided to do a bit more with them. Joytoy said it wasn't feasible to have their workers paint up all the studs and such, so I took it upon myself to do that. Painted up the studs on the armor for the despoiler marines and made my first attempt at painting a plasma pistol because it didn't look right by default. I think the extra effort makes these guys stand out more.
  8. I posted this in the SV-262 thread, but figured I'll put it here too just in case. Gold touch up for SV-262hs
  9. This comes very late, but coincidentally while painting something else with Citadel Paint - Retributor Armor, it came to my mind that it looked just like the gold used on Keith's SV-262. I had one that had a lot of the gold that was scuffed off and tried applying some to it. It is nearly identical. I repainted that whole area outlined in the black box on both sides of where it separates and I think most people would have a hard time distinguishing it from the rest of the gold on the 262. Just a tip if there's anyone else that had the gold scuff off or peeled off with the protective plastic right out of the box and wanted to do some touch ups.
  10. Pretty sure they're coming eventually. I do want those inner circle ones with the new helmets. In other news, they announced a few days ago the 10th edition Leviathan box set terminators including UM 1st Captain Agemman, the librarian terminator, and some terminators including the sgt with the teleport homer. The helmet sculpts have been fixed so they're not so small looking and more detail have been added to the legs. They are also a little bigger than the Deathwing termies.
  11. Yeah, I mean it's based on the same source material so there's bound to be a lot of similarities, However, they don't look to be using the same gimmicks like the twist down of the intake turbine sections to allow the arms to slide forward or the fact that it looks like these allow the pilots to exit out of the front hatch. Kind of looks like it has a mid-thigh swivel also which the Sentinel versions don't have.
  12. Wow, these markups are brutal. They're skipping the scalpers by doing it themselves.
  13. Well, I was close. Looking forward to seeing a finished and painted prototype.
  14. That POSE+ Alpha looks really good. Even better than the Sentinel version I think. It looks pretty big too. What is that? something like 1/24 scale? Probably not that big, but certainly larger than 1/48.
  15. That's good to know. Thanks! I was debating whether if I should get one of these reissues or not, but was worried about the color not matching Luca or Maruyama's.
