Did Yamato make kits?

Got some info here. It's Mickyg's VF-1 kit build in the workshop. There were also ones for the VF-1A, VF-1J and VF-1D. Hope that helps. That asking price for the VF-1S on Buyee is high though.

If I recall correctly, they were around $70. I have a spreadsheet somewhere, showing all the original prices I paid for my kits. They were definitely cheaper than the assembled versions.

They're tricky kits though. Lots of little pins and parts to trim up. You really end up appreciating the assembly by the factory when it's finished.

Hey mate, hows the quality? Did they use the same plastic as on the toys?

I'd like to get one if the price is right.
