well it just proves that even with a crappy or non existent story line all one has to do is throw in a gorgeous woman into the mix and everything becomes alright! I'll admit this movie wasn't fantastic but I only saw it for Mila Kunis! And im certainly glad I did so! :D

Your FAR too easy to please. Luckily I had a book to read while watching it.

I remember watching the trailer for Jupiter Ascending in the theater and not giving it a second thought. After briefly Googling it, I am very surprised that it was not based on a young adult book series. Now that I think back to it, I am even more surprised that it was not in fact an American adaptation to a Shoujo manga, because that trailer made the film feel like something from that genre.

It's good that you can admit to sublimating your desires for a more fulfilling film experience, for some eye candy.

Almost the exact opposite of my experience with Pacific Rim. While not a fantastically deep and moving film, I went to see it for some stunning visual and sound effects, and to see giant robots fight giant monsters. I expected a big, dumb, Michael Bay transformers, styled movie with lots of Mecha porn. By did I get more than I asked for, I was pleasantly surprised by it. Unlike this video of Jupiter Ascending,

The producers should've learned that No Statham = Not a Transporter Film.

"Dogshit."

"D+. You know, between this movie and Hitman: Agent 47, Hollywood wants me to buy an Audi."

Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 18% - "The Transporter Refueled has little to offer beyond a handful of decent action sequences, leaving this reboot's title feeling more like wishful thinking than a restatement of purpose."
Metacritic Score: 31 out of 100

LOL that is one of the best ones they ever did. I love the end when the movie credits are rolling and they blame Mike for the 80's and the how bad the film was.............

Dynaman is absolutely correct. The MST3K version is the only way this movie is even watchable.

Finally got around to seeing Chappie. Wow, yeah, it belongs in this thread. I'm not sure how it even got made.

i actually didn't mind Chappie so much.. yeah they could have made certain points of the story line a little more believable and the ending sucks a big fat one but overall it was ok.

Could this be a new candidate? You decide.

yeah this doesn't look so good... even though Vin Diesel did well in the Riddick movies, he just seems so out of place in this film.. I'll most certainly end up watching it but im not gonna expect it to be any good.

Spanner if you laughed that hard at the credits (I did also by the way). You should look it up on youtube and watch that episode of MST3K. The first time i watched it I was ROFLMAO. It is well worth the time. If by some chance you ever get to see any of the Godzilla movies they lampooned then do it. They are hard to find because the current owner of the rights to the old Godzilla movies got pissed with them for what they did in lampooning them.

The Godzilla films have been released on official DVDs now (at least some of them). I think all of the Gamera ones have been - and they are simply MUST see TV.

If this clip from Godzilla vs Megalon doesn't entice one to watch then nothing will (IMHO this episode was not that funny with the riffs falling flat but this bit is hilarious).

That one is my all time favorite from MST3K.

Crow: "Is it ethical to take a little kid on a dangerous mission?"

Servo: "Not this kid!"

Dynaman is right on that one, it is a must see!

Wait - there are vampire movies that are worse than Twilight?

its hard to believe that its even possible eh! The Twilight movies were just horrible! I had to sit through them as my girlfriend is a big fan of Robert Pattinson.. <_<

It is best if you just watch and not question Spanner, your sanity will thank you...........but if you must know it was sweaty Japanese men in rubber suits fighting each other while being attacked by scale model aircraft. Thank god for Joel and the Bots!

By all means, this is not the worst Star Trek film ever made.

This is what they call "damning with faint praise."

And worst or not, it's definitely the most tortured production. Cast literaly didn't know what soript they were shooting until the day of the shoot in many scenes.

Didn't really matter, for the most part it involved staring at the forward view screen. (and with that mention someone is bound to bring out that youtube clip...)

Pretty much all I remember of it is the giant spaceship that had the Voyager probe in it.

Add this to the list. Based on the reviews, we can simply call it "The Green Lantern of Peter Pan Films", because the CGI effects are that bad. Go watch the old Disney film or Finding Neverland instead.

"D"

"1.9 out of 5 Schmoes"

"Dogshit"

Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 27% - "Pan finds a few bursts of magic in its prequel treatment of classic characters, though not enough to offset the rushed plot and shrill, CGI-fueled action."
Metacritic Score: 35 out of 100

By all means, this is not the worst Star Trek film ever made. But given its rather confusing history before its production, it's no wonder Trekkies don't think fondly of this film.

Nope, ST:TMP was amazing, does not belong here.

Why, does she take her top off or something? I'd rent it just for that reason alone. :D
