As a fan of Macross, and enjoying the Misa Hayase: White Reminiscenses Novel Translation from Gubaba (who is unfortunately banned from the site!). It would be nice for the Macross fans to do translations of the following Macross Novels/Manga/Audio drama/Video Game Story's in the style of Gubaba's Misa Hayase: White Reminiscenses Novel Translation.

Here is the list

Dreaming Prelude: My Fair Minmay Novel

Macross: The First Manga

Macross Inside Story: Macross Classic Audio drama

Macross M3 Video Game for the Sega Dreamcast

Macross: True Love Song Video Game

Macross Generation Audio drama

Macross VF-X2 Video Game

Super Dimension Song Maiden Ranka Manga

Sheryl: Kiss in the Galaxy Manga

Macross Frontier: Hold Me Tightly to the Edge of the Galaxy Manga

Macross Fortissimo Manga

Macross 30: Voices across the Galaxy Video Game

Macross The Musicalture Musical

It'd be nice, but that's a LOT of material... and the fans here who do translations, myself included, have their own projects, priorities, areas of interest, and other obligations.

Oh, there are loads... like the novelizations of Macross II, DYRL?, Frontier, 30, etc., short stories in Macross Ace, and all kinds of other stuff.

Well his account does appear to be closed, or at least in active.

I did meet him recently at AnimeExpo 2016 and he mentioned that he had probably been banned.

I didn't inquire further since I'm sorta new to this online Macross community in general and didn't want to get into any unpleasant details that I didn't have context for.

I was at AnimeExpo 2016 and got to see the Shōji Kawamori panel, it was awesome!

Agreed. Right now, RL is the biggest blockage.

One thing to keep in mind (aimed at the OP) is that some things may never get translated (at least by us regulars). I'm referring to the manga on the list in particular.

Reason being is that they are often still in print (or regularly reprinted), and many of us follow the code of not scanning and releasing things (not limited to manga) that are in print. Its only a short hop, skip and a jump for someone else to take our translations, paste them onto scans of the manga, and making that freely available.

Also note that some things on your list have started to be translated, but due to their age and the extent of the material, those projects have been shoved to the back burner. Eg: my VF-X and VF-X2 translations: http://monkeybacon.mywebcommunity.org/OTmiscbooks.php

Continuing with those games - it may also be an impossible task: one has to play the games in their infinite variations while recording the dialogue and on screen graphics, all the while not getting distracted by playing the game and losing focus on the overall goal... and that's just assembling the content!
