Sold mine a couple months ago, but I'm so getting another one, I've always regretted selling it. The transformation is awesome on that thing.

I'm kinda of a noob yet I have a fairly large collection of Macross Valks (I collect the toys but have never seen the shows). I was looking at my old 1/48 VF-1J the other day (the first Valk I ever got - thank you A3U!) and I was wondering if today was just all about the new 1/60 ones or if the 1/48 were still sought after?

Bought a chunky VF-1J reissue at TFcon last week, I like it better than the 1/48 or the 1/60 versions. Vintage engineering rocks.

Yeah, battroid mode sucks. Far too sexy and aggressive for the average Macross fan. We don't like change.

WANT. At any scale as long as they keep the transformation exactly the same (it's not like it's super complex anyway).

Love my Quarter as well. Not sure what the reviewer was expecting. An integrated anti-gravity device to support all the weight in cruiser mode? Not the kind to whoosh my toys around either. This is not a toy for kids after all, mostly for display.

I prefer my VF-25 Alto with full armor and my VF-27 over my 1/60 VF-11C or VE-1 (and all my other 1/60 and 1/48 figures actually). Unfortunately, Yammies don't feel as nice as they look.

Got my VF-27 today, awesome piece. The sculpt is spectacular all over. I own a few Yammies, but the Bandai DX stuff is just so much more nicer.

I can't help it, when I think "skull + crossbones", I think "Disney pirate ships". I've always prefered minimalist decos.
