  1. Happy for the VF-0 possibility, I was waiting for it.
  2. Cool, thanks MKT. Interesting to learn this is a coloured sample and still under development. I wonder if that's the reason for not having any markings on the Fast Pack and gun pods yet...
  3. Yeah, me too. Also looking forward to the DX version though, I want to see what it looks like.
  4. So it's gold paint? I thought the plastic would be that colour...
  5. Ha ha ha!!! You've got a point there!
  6. For what I understand, there will be a replacement canopy, they've been announcing this for a while:
  7. So, what do you think this is? It wasn't present on the first prototype.
  8. I think removing tampo is as legitimate as adding decals or clear coating a $300 toy, why not? I'm a professional model maker and I do what I want with my toys and money, I'm sure you all too 😉

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

It hasn't been mentioned, so I guess not. It could have been a nice touch.
  10. On the contrary, I could leave some of the lettering, but all that striping... In fighter mode, it looks like it wears a kilt:
  11. Yeah, I remembered what @tekering did, kid of a bold move but the result was great! There may be a phone call to Mar del Plata to share some ideas... Thank you very much, sir!!!
  12. I think it's mostly ok when seen from above, but I really dislike all the mess that's going around the belly plates. I think the design of the lines is very bad, not to mention they're completely uncanonical.
  13. I'd also say that the Bandai new version is much more complex than the Yamato one and comes with more extras. It also has an enormous amount of die-cast and tampo, which adds some value. By the way, any advice about how to remove the tampo without affecting the plastic?
