Question #2) We all know that it is difficult to make a transforming Macross toy that accurately resembles its anime appearance in all three modes. Given this fact, in which mode would you prefer that the toy has the most accurate appearance (Choose one answer only):

Question #3) Keeping in mind that newly designed transforming VF-1 toys from both Yamato (1/72 scale) and Toynami (1/65 scale) are scheduled for release this year, would you still be interested in purchasing a re-issue of the classic 1/55 scale Valkyrie toys if somebody were to make them?

Question #4) Yamato have stated that they are working on improving the design of their YF-19 toy, but what direction do you, the fans, think they should take to improve it? Please choose one answer only from the following choices.
Option # 1. Improve the accuracy of appearance in all three modes by having replacement parts for each mode. For example, in order for the shoulders to sit lower in fighter mode, you would be able to detach the back sections of the legs from the battroid mode. The advantage of this is that the toy could be made to look very good in all three modes. The disadvantage is that there is the possibility for the removeable parts not in use to be lost (something very easy with small parts). This option would require new molds to to be created, and could delay the FAST pack, and/or color variation YF-19s to be released. With a greater number of parts, the price would also increase-probably 20 to 30%.
Option # 2. Another option is to make a more complicated design. For example something similar to the Studio Half Eye YF-19 which has a very intricate and delicate rear folding leg mechanism to allow a better appearance in fighter mode. Such a version would have a more accurate appearance than the present YF-19 toy, but on the downside it would be more fragile and also harder to transform. This option would require new molds to to be created, and could delay the FAST pack, and/or color variation YF-19s to be released. With a greater number of parts, the price would also increase-probably 20 to 30%.
Option # 3, is for Yamato to stick to the present YF-19 design but try to improve as much as possible on some areas such as the appearance and durability of the knee joints and the appearance of the front landing gear. The advantage of sticking to the present design is that it is quite durable and allows for free transformation without removing any parts. The disadvantage is that the appearance is not 100% accurate especially in fighter mode. Also, the present YF-19 design has reached the stage where it can not be improved very much.
