Macross is Japanese, and a direct letter by letter translation is impossible
I'm never a stickler for romanji spellings. Millia is Milia is Miria.

Here
is an insert that came with an Orguss kit. It's interesting to note
that even though by the time this kit came out, the second model manual
that had BOTH Orguss and Macross in it is not featured. Instead, the
Macross ONLY manual is shown. A little circumstantial evidence that
at this time IMAI was beginning to worry about it's Macross line and
was pushing it even inside it's Orguss kits.
