04-22-00 Happy Easter! Added a MW ebay auciton link(My id is M639). I am going through and clearing out some of my duplicate items.
04-17-00 Check out the newly remodeled Magazine section! I hope it is much easier to navigate now! One of the perverted things I found is a Takatoku 1/55 Minky Momo valkyrie. ugh.
04-15-00 Everything from the 4-10 update is now loaded except: Macross II LD's,Tomahawk Pencil Board, and magazines. I'll get the magazines up tomorrow. Also updated the Taka project page and added 2 more Shoji Kawamori pics in the Art section.

04-10-00 Cough Cough...caught the flu from someone at work. It's had me wiped out for a little over 1 week now. I love office ventilation! I haven't uploaded anything yet, but have been working on the following for the last couple days. Expect them to be up towards the end of this week:

From Carl Hoff comes the 1/100 Pheyos Valkyrie ,1/72 Musasiya VF-4, and a B-Club 1/100 VF-2JA fighter. Also Macross II LD volumes 1-4 and some great new links I know you will enjoy! We have had GREAT interest in the Macross 1/55 head recasting project. Chris is doing all the work during his spare time so I can't really rush him...that is your job! The VF-1D head and Head Lasers are done. Now he just has to make the master mold casting section(so he can do 3-5 at one time) and we are ready to go! MW (Macross World-forever abbreviated as MW after this) just hit 250 MB! Online are 3700 files (includes thumbnails). Holy cow! I can't thank everyone enough for their support & contributions, this project has become incredibly large. Funny, it was going to only be a Macross model site at first! If only I could get Egan to....

03-19-00 Added(with a short recap from the 17th) : Entire Wave model section(still have to scan in the instructions from my MC-01), entire Hobby Base model section(has 1 whole model so far...the VF-4), a bootleg model section, 7 incredible new pictures of the Yellow Submarine DYRL Macross, 40 more magazines with Macross articles, 1 with Macross cover, and Bandai's 15th anniversary Macross 7 kits. Throw in too a couple pics of Tsukuda Macross board game boxes I downloaded from the web. Also Zippo lighter, VF Leather Jacket, Nichimo, Imai, SHE model and 4 Perfect Memory book ads. 5 art books, and pics added to the Macross TV series books. Comico Macross comic book too. As you will see I have also used some pictures from HLJ to fill in some missing gaps(for now) on MW. I welcome any submissions you have for these.
I have noticed the Magazine section has gotten incredibly large, and will redesign it soon. I also will try to slim down the main page and buttons...I've gotten spoiled by having quick internet service..the page is taking much longer to load now using a modem.
03-17-00 Alright, finally getting some free time this weekend! Today I loaded up 10 more Macross ads, and 5 more Macross books (most are in the Misc section). I have 41 more magazines scanned in and ready to go up this weekend, as I will not have time to upload tonight. Tons of new model pictures and toys will be going up, as well as an update on the Taka head project! I really appreciate all your patience. By Sunday night I will have added another 250 pictures to MW!
03-05-00 Just checking in with everyone. Work has VERY busy, and I have had 0.0 time to work on the site. Hang in there a little bit longer. Graham just sent in a picture of the upcoming Macross 7 Gameboy game, check it out in the Newsletter section.

While you are there you will also want to put in your pre-order for the upcoming Toycom Macross Plus toys.
I am going to be out of town all next week, so there will be no updates from 02/19/00 to 02/26/00. What is coming up? Received another great batch of Macross kits from G.T.C., and picked up a couple more magazines.

02-08-00 Great news for Original Model collectors! Just talked to Ron at G.T.C. and got word that Macross World could also post up his Nichimo and Arii Macross kits! Sometime next week his entire Macross line-up will be on-line here! Also temporarily killed the link for the Mecha Quiz..the Destroid Phalanx wasn't on the list, and I had 'Starfighter' instead of 'Star Mirage'. Thanks to Graham for pointing those out! The day I posted the quiz, I had just bought 'The Last Starfighter' on DVD and had it on the brain.
Apparently in the new issue of Gamers Republic Toycom has posted and ad for their Valkyries! I'm still trying to find an issue for myself...if anyone has the issue and a scanner send it in! : )
Couple of you have asked why you cannot find Macross World on any search engines. Well I've been kind of 'feeling-out' the bandwidth levels of the site. Except for a few spikes (I'll attribute those to the site-savers) things are looking great. Soon Macross World will be easy to find for everyone.
You know I say it all the time,
but it really is FAN SUPPORT that is keeping this project going strong.
Although this site will never be as all-encompassing and accurate
(I'll be the first to admit I have had a bunch of errors!) as
Egan Loo's incredible Macross
Compendium it will eventually stand on it's own as one of the
premier resources for those looking for information. Matane!
02-06-00 Want to welcome Tomos from Valkyrie Scramble! He has sent in many contributions to this update such as Nichimo #29 Milia Battroid, Arii AR316-32/ AR300-1/ AR377-90/ AR569-MA4 box covers. His scanner is broken right now, but once he fixes it he has offered to send in some of the Studio Half Eye kits (like the VA-3) too!
The Macross World newsletter section has undergone a complete overhaul. Please stop in and check it out.
What other things? Well from R5-D4's Macross Factory we have Imai 1437-125 DYRL Conversion instructions and Nichimo #20 VF-1D Battroid model additions.

I've been busy too. Now up are some new magazines: 2 from OUT, 1 MEGU, 1 B-CLUB, and 1 ANIME V..all with Macross covers! Also found another Macross notepad to add. One of my most recent aquisitions is a 500 piece Macross II puzzle I won on Ebay! This will be a lot of fun to put together.

01-26-00 Fixed a couple bugs here and there. Still can't get Web TV to work correctly on the Macross Fun page. Still trying though! I'll finish up more fun pages this weekend, work has been hectic and I have no free time. I did manage to spend 5 minutes and load up some ToyCom vs SHE YF-19 pictures! It's great to see the comparison. They are in the Special Assignments section.
01-23-00 Uploading the Macross Fun section. They are in very early stages of development and any feedback is appreciated. The crossword puzzle might change..I don't really know if I like how you have to put in the characters. If you want to add to this section let me know! I certainly need help with the trivia sections!

With this new information I updated the Books Section with the correct Perfect Memory editions. Also added articles from the September 1992 Hobby Japan magazine on Macross. The G-Port VF-2SS valkyrie is a beatiful kit to look at...but we have word it was cancelled.

01-01-00 My web server has been having MAJOR problems this entire last week. Finally they are back up. Argghh!
I have LOTS of new stuff to add (All courtesy of Marc Luce!). Marc runs Marcs Models and is one of the few places you can still buy original issue Macross kits! Please stop in and check out his great selection! I should have everything up within the next 2-3 days! Also added a Search Engine, Guestbook, Message Board, and Special Assignment sections. 12-23-99 Well my web hosting company is having major problems with their connections, so site updates are temporarily on hold. I just got some great pictures from Marc Luce, but am unable to load them up yet. Hopefully in the next few days!
On a side note: Response has been absolutely wonderful. I have met a lot of great fans out there, and many of you are even contributing pictures and information. I can't thank you all enough. Your support will make this a great fan-site. That's the GREAT part.
The bad part is someone has used a 'Site Saver' type program to save the entire Model, Magazine,Toy and Music sections. I've been hoping that it wouldn't happen but it was bound to. I really do appreciate the interest in the site, but I am unfortunately strictly limited to a certain Bandwidth of downloading. Most people are looking for something specific so I haven't really worried too much about it. Thumbnails are nothing, and most people look at about 20-30 big pictures per visit. But for 4 days there was over 240MB total of picture saving from one ISP location. The ENTIRE Macross World site is only 150MB. Many files where downloaded more than once(some over 20x). If there is anything that will shut this site down it is this. If you happen to need a large amount of pictures just email me! I'll be more than happy to arrange to get my friend to burn a CD-ROM for you! : )

12-14-99 Temporarily closed down the site. I originally had set it up with way too many subfolders (maintaining it was a pain!) Now it is much easier for me. This is my first site, so I am learning. Fixed about 10,000 typos. My goodness I need to take a typing course!! Sorry about those. New additions? Lots of stuff. Ads, models, toys, news you name it. Over 20 new items. All links should be corrected now. Ran the entire site through the checks multiple times. Looking good.
Site has 2056 pictures (including thumbnails) and is 138MB! Hope you enjoy it! Whew.

11-30-99 Zero hour. Well 2 months of work has paid off. Tomorrow will make the site available for search engines and some Newsgroups. Still have lots of things to add to the site, but the infrastructure is up and hopefully solid.

GENERAL SITE INFORMATION
I created this site to celebrate 15 years of Macross fandom. I have been collecting Macross items since 1984 (When I was a sophomore in High School). I fell in love with the Valkyrie designs the first time I saw them. They looked just like my all-time favorite jet, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat! Ever since then I've been hooked. My favorite items to collect are Macross models by far (this site was going to be dedicated to models only initially!). But after looking at the rest of my collection I decided to make it a general Macross merchandise site. Hopefully with the information here other fans can see things they might not have known about, or wanted to know more of. A great benefit for me is that people out there will set me straight so I can learn something new!!
This is by no means an 'Official' Macross site. I created it purely for love of the series, and that's it. This is my first web site attempt, so keep that in mind if something breaks...I am learning!
