Otakon has announced that Hidetaka Tenjin will be attending this year’s convention. Macross fans know Tenjin as the artist who provided the gorgeous box art for all of Hasegawa’s Macross model kits (pictured above right) and the mechanical covers for Macross Chronicle. Tenjin has also done mechanical art for series such as Mobile Suit Gundam and Space Battleship Yamato. Otakon 2012 will be held in Baltimore, Maryland and take place from July 27 through July 29.
